
I’m a Pastry Chef living in NYC. A graduate of The French Culinary Institute. I am pursuing a career in the restaurant/bakery industry. I’m currently working at Danny Meyers new restaurant Maialino. An amazing Italian Restaurant located in The Gramercy Park Hotel.
How it all started: As a Junior/Senior in High School I assisted in the baking and decorating of many wedding cakes at The Chef’s Kitchen in Cincinnati, OH. What I didn’t know at that moment was that as a high school senior I would be experimenting with “what I was meant to do.” Instead of going straight to culinary school I chose to head off to college. As I entered my Junior year I studied abroad for a semester. While abroad I traveled most of Western Europe and one of those stops was definitely Paris, France.Upon my arrival I fell in love with the world of pastry all over again and decided that I would apply to Pastry school after I graduated. After receiving a Bachelors in Education at Miami University I headed off to New York to pursue my passion. I enrolled at The French Culinary Institute and 6 months later I am a Pastry Chef!
